I love sci fi and I try to give every sci fi movie the benefit of the doubt. Which is why this gets an extra *!
There’s so many things wrong with it, it’s difficult to highlight just one or two. First is the fact that it was written and directed by the same person. Oh, oh, oh dear. When will producers ever, ever, ever learn? Rhetorical question, judging by the number of writer/director movies out there!
The pacing is terrible, the sets are dire, the graphics are so limited, and the plot is derivative – 2001 anyone? Obviously done on a massively low budget.
It’s confusing for the most part although, to its credit, it does attempt some sort of resolution towards the end. If you stay that long. Most sensible people will have walked out or switched off. The really sensible ones will avoid it altogether.
So sad. The whole world of sci fi at their dis[osla and no one can make a half-decent sci fi movie…
